While working on the No Rest chapter 5 thumbnails, to try and get back into the comic-making groove, I made several one-page comics each featuring one of the characters. The basic idea is that some random unseen interviewer is asking them about the most recent dream they had. In movies, books, comics etc., “dream” sequences always seem to be either overly literal recollections of the past or overly literal visions of the future. I thought it would be fun to try and depict the weirdness of actual dreams. Of course, the first character featured happens to be the one who technically can’t have dreams. :P
This story is BY FAR one of the best I’ve read and I am a published illustrator and writer and daughter of a publisher (meaning I’m picky as hell)
